520			_aThe purpose of the project is to develop a web application name “GROCERY SALES FORECASTING AND INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR SMALL ORGANIZATION” that will be used by small business owner who just started their business with lack of financial and planning especially the sole proprietorship. The main objective is to investigate the method and inventory management to predict the future sales of good and to maintain the stock level manage by the business owner. Managing inventories are always one of the major challenges in managing a business. Although some of them are using small systems but they still lack of integrated system for the owners to use it. Not only that, some of the small business owner still uses the tradition way to record their sales. In addition, inventory levels can also affect purchases, restocking and sales. In most organizations, the purchasing department typically checks inventory software to verify inventory levels and then always accurate inventory allows the department to make more informed decisions. Thus, GROCERY SALES FORECASTING AND INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR SMALL ORGANIZATION are apply to effectively manage inventory issues and provides management with timely alert information for decision making. The project will be use the methodology of prototyping which will extend from one phase to another such as planning, requirements analysis, design, implementation and testing. The limitation of the system is the software would be implemented on personal computers over a Local Area Network and only applicable to use for the small business. As a result these applications are able to resolve the problem statement during the management and help the business to perform best performance.
